Team Challenge Broadcasting Live, Right Here! (copy 1)

If Verizon gets their Sh!t right, we should be broadcasting the Team Challenge LIVE this Sunday

 

 

The variation of the MC Challenge will have 5 contestants from each crew going against each other in the patented five rounds:

1. Writtens
2. A Capelas
3. Freestyle Grab Bag
4. Beat Juggling
5. Cypha Skills

 

There are plenty of talent competitions, MC battles and other outlets for up-and-coming solo MCs, but no other event offers a chance for crews to compete together.

 

 

Sure the event is meant to encourage teamwork and all that good stuff, but don't get it twisted, the stakes are high. Past winners include T. Weaponz and Make A Move Records.

The Team Challenge is scheduled for Sunday, April 5^th 2009 at Pyramid Club, 101 Avenue A between E. 6^th & E. 7^thStreets.

 

 

So far we only have two songs from the crews: "The Downrock - 5th Column, featuring Hasan Salaam, Bad Sport, Rugged N Raw" and "Look What I Can Do - Rebel Starr"

 

The 9^th season will begin two weeks later with the 41^st MC Challenge. Registration is available online, just create a profile and add "MC Challenge Entrant" to your Bio area. Make sure to include a myspace link!
