... and it was just as crazy as I remember. Plus, as part of my "Welcome home, now get to work reception" I got the job of writing the RE:Cap!
So, lets see, of course there was new and classic stuff from all parts of the world: Belgium, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, St. Louis and of course Brooklyn were definitely in the house! Oh wait, that's the places making alcohol I drank'. And with all those whiskeys, beers, malts, ales and lagers in my system I am lucky I can remember that much.
But the music? Hot! (I think). I remember getting many "Welcome Home" shout outs and those are always good. I know all the regulars were out in force, and remember seeing Sara Kana, Marco, Khalil Cash for sure, but probably others too.
The intro was crazy as always, and I definitely remember Rugged N Raw killing his showcase (Of course he had the ol shirt and tie) and MC Translation definitely showed up for Cali (I think he was rocking a fedora with the feather and a Che shirt? Maybe?). EOW's own Sted Ruckus was like 10 deep with mad cousins from Iowa, so you know he had to get his little spoken word piece off.
OH! I also know that we were projecting the original EOW DVD "Neo-Genesis" on the gigantic wall across the street. That was a great look and we will keep that going in future weeks, definitely something to see.
All in all, yet another hot show at End Of the Weak! The Greatest Flow on Earth! Come check us out this Sunday, and if you get there early enough I might still be sober!
