I’m back bitches, and two times stronger!
As many of the internal EOW family knows I recently got married and have been honeymooning for some time. I was in Cancun taking in love and sun with my new wife, Mrs.Pro. I was mad excited to get back to the grind as a new man. My daughter Zoe and son Marcus came to the EOW meeting with me (got to teach em young about that work ethic) and I was feeling blessed all around. Dropped the kids off and headed back to the DUB, our WORLD renowned movements’ birth place, Sunday night with 3 Kings, of which I am proud to be one of.
There is NEVER a shortage of talent or hunger (which is evident at 1 AM when cats are still trying to freestyle and cipher). DJ Snips our brethren from across the pond and OFFICIAL EOW DJ was spinning sizzling crack over the audience. Tres Reyes went innington, Zoo spazzed with off the top madness, Vice crushed heads with freestyle mayhem and Pro provided decadent doses of fire with each flow. Call and response hooks and more KINGS set the tone for a great night at EOW.
We're currently working on a project for BET so we were recording ciphers throughout the night. I Manifest was first to jump in and get some. He freestyle’d his whole set and killed it, the crowd was OOoo’ing and AHHhh’ing. Vice and I hit him with some hooks as he ferociously tore it up. Young gun Hydro hit em up next with an original joint. It was catchy and the Dub was definitely into it. Then Losha'...AKA Aliosha got it in, spitting some next lyrical shit about $, politics and the US military, real ground breaking stuff. Kalil Kash made it "BANG BANG BANG" for the whole Jersey massive that represented on Sunday. Lockwise also had some crack droplet’s for the crowd, a joint called “Bee's Wax” about heads always talking some Yap’...Tight joint! He was followed up by Don Q who did some throwback instrumentals with the call and response to get me open, then finally laid into it with a hot verse and hook from his original music catalogue. THE BAR WAS UP!
LISTEN, we had such quality shit going on already I was loving the Dub, MY DUB, E O DUB!! Then Tru Knowledge from OZ Ent. hit em up and BODIED it.. "I'm not that rapper" and he's definitely NOT. He hit em with the Michael Jackson knee slide and the whole shit, crazy.Marco P jumped into the "Die Nigguh, Die" record, basically telling heads that consider themselves “N-Word”, to kill themselves. HARD body… In the same tough body mold EOW's first Chica got it in with her single "You don't know about this Bitch" with 3 K's backing her up, EPIC. It was time to soften it up. So the Kings did the "Ladies" freestyle to get it moist and we transitioned into some great RnB shii from a new comer, Nikki T. Salute, she had original music, and an excellent vocal. Cut the LIGHTs...Lazer Time...Nuff said, Kurt Kadet.
I could keep telling you how great it was, but hey, show up ya damn self next week. honorable mention: Zilla, A-Lots, RYZE "MOOLAH", Forty Barz (freestyles crazy). The 3 man team with mad skills, welcome to the EOW experience, good stuff, can't remember the name, just the dope joint, Coogi and Zuleka on the late night.
OZ Entertainment... OK OK ...SO my dude OX, he's bigger than you, he intimidates you and makes you act soft (pause), but his talent pool is SICK!! They had the full blow out showcase Sunday, including VICE VERSES!! It went like, Izrayl, smashing monsta riddim and getting the crowd open, Sky, driving the fellas crazy and mashing out over some serious island flavors, Tru Knowledge, going crazy the whole damn TIME and Vice brutalizing you with solo perfection...O Z, this ain't the yellow brick road schun...Salute the whole squad and my dude OX for making it happen. Where's that mixtape man?
