Last Sunday wasn't even ladies night but that didn't stop plenty of women from reppin at the dub! If you weren't able to catch it, here are some highlights.
The evening jumped with the new EOW sub-unit , A.SK (Angel & Sara Kana), rockin their single “Super Girls” and setting off the night with a dope intro with DJ Vinyl Richie on the 1 & 2's. Also in the house with Vinyl is resident EOW UK's own DJ Snips... Something you seriously shouldn't have missed!
Extra big shouts go to Shira, Zee, Denny Jackson, and Kraze for bringing that feminine power to the dub. Watch out people the ladies are taking over!!!!
Early in the night to a packed house, straight out of Fat Beats' Brown Bag Allstars, Soul Khan delivered a fantastic show!! I heard he iz a professional head choppin battle superstar, but not only that, he makes GREAT music and has a very engaging show!! The whole crowd were involved in his call and responses and he left everyone wanting more. JOB WELL DONE!!
Adding another element to the middle of the evening, was literally a charter bus full of people coming from Jerz from a hip hop appreciation event. Shades Radio put this event together and invited peeps to a bbq,show, panel discussion, and after party hosted by the dub. Another crazy shout to EOW's own Zoo, for sitting in as a panelist to answer Q & A along side his boy KRS ONE..( I hope heads are still watching Zoo body that freestyle with KRS on EOWtv)
Next order of business was the second showcase of the night. Wow!! Solomon Jazz brought his peoples a dope band called The Vibe. Yo, that band was so smooth and the beats were bananas..SJ killed it and his set had the whole crowd tuned in. Everyone was excited for the next joint and were sad when it was over. Good SHHH!!
More highlights of the night EOClub was still poppin, thanks Kurt Cadet. Great energy award goes to True Knowledge who always gives 110% on stage. Reall Tight Productions have once again bodied their new single and The Deli came all the way from CT to kill it!!! Len Berzerk was a great addition to the night as well. Gotta mention D-Majin-eye, who was that “Numero uno” and had everyone doing his hook. Also Rich Da Name and Scienze were a nice treat at the end of the night and knew how to rock on stage backing each other up like pros.
Then the end of the dub came upon us and None, Webb, Shimy, and the ladies of A.SK murdered the last bars of the night!
