Sunday night we jumped off the intro a little early w/ special guest DJ J-Ronin. The 3 Kings went in as usual and started the night off with some great energy!
The night went down like this
Aliosha: new gun started off the night right.
Wondagheddon: another new gun with great potential.
Khalil Kash: smashed shit down!
Ryze: that record (I get Moolah!) is Crack! It has become a DUB classic!
Dirty Mac: MC Challenge champion rocked out w/ new material.
Ill Answer: definitely flying the Jet Blue!
C-Ryhmes: straight lost his voice due to a combination of nervousness and excitement! (I have never seen that before at the DUB.)
Illard Scott: continues to impress me every week w/ new material!
Sin Gin: great song!
Signif: female MC spit like 48 straight bars of murder! We need to see her again!
Iron Solomon: recorded a live version of Forty-four 4's and bodied a new song!
Niles: formerly known as Alias came through w/ new material.
Then there were our showcases for the night.
Rebel Star: It was great to see two of our EODUB graduates go in w/ a full set. They tore through some brand new material and then fell into the classic; Look What I Can Do w/ 6 different guest MC. Great Performance!
Math: After a couple of false starts Math Hoffa stepped up and rocked out! Math is a well-respected battle MC and he came through to show the people that battling is not his only skill. New original, hardcore Hip-Hop for the people!
