The night after Valentine's Day and it was clear that LOVE was still in the air (the love for some raw underground Hip-Hop that is.) The line was down the block and The EOW soldiers were ready to go in.
After a great intro set by the 3 Kings (SALUTE!), the crowd was ready. The night was really special and it went down a little something like this:
Mirak - set it off in the correct fashion with a strong record.
Illard Scott - new MC with great talent & stage presence.
Kurt Cadet - glow sticks and E pills!
Ryze - killed it this week w/ a new song and a new suit for the ladies!
Zilla - raw reggae energy!
Chedda Sharp - another newcomer with great talent.
Majesty - good to see you fam!
Fresh Kills - a producer, who came with his MPC and played beats while Poison Pen & Pumpkinhead killed it with new writtens & freestyles! (WHOA!)
Mash Music - came STUPID DEEP & tore shit down! (We need to see y'all again!)
The Highlights of the night were the 2 showcases by Songlist & Nonezeo.
Songlist did his numbers with his R&B DUB classics and the ladies all swooned but None transformed himself into Nonezeo GOODLOVE (suit and all) and killed an R&B set w/ Sinclair on the keys and Ed Golson on the bass. A nice change of pace for the DUB and it was a special tribute to all the ladies we had in the house!
We also had great songs from: Marco Polo, Ghetto Terrorists, Khalil Kash, A-Lots, Ampt, A-Train, Dukes, Fortune, B Double-O and Reck.

A packed night, Jersey was in there deep, ladies everywhere and the greatest Hip-Hop show on earth. Another classic night where we spread E-O-Love to the people!
