3K jumped off the night doing what they do, getting the crowd amped up. They went in with an onslaught of back-n-forth freestyles writ tens, the works. Dj V.Dot Richie was waaaaaay on point behind the wheels and the night was set.
We had a shortened list because of the Challenge but there was no lack of talent. Marco polo performed the ladies tribute song “Girls” and had a huge contingent of females smiling. Good look
Kali Kash hit the stage with “its Pay Day”….well done
Cats like Lefty, an EODUB newcomer showed he’s someone we should take notice to.
Then the whole night got a huge Adrenaline shot when EOW vet Pac FM hit the stage and absolutely bodied it! Zoo and Vice went in with the hook and it was defining moment of the night!
As the clock hit 10:30 the Pyramid was jam packed from stage past the bar….yeah at 10:30!! We were ready to jump off the Team Challenge
As we introduced the Team we had super Photog Amy Take a pic of each team with the 3 Kings. One by one the teams hit the stage with their Capt. introducing each member
ROUND 1..(Written) Rebel Star were all dressed to a T… killing em with the Dapper shirt-n-tie look. They also were the only team with a female MC… 2 to be exact!… The written rhyme had them backing up the solo joint and ending with “let me fix my tie” maaad stage presents
The Dream Team had Mazi and Elite Going back and forth 8 bars a piece and rippin the music to shred!
Round 2 (acca-pella) The 5th Column Team had Bad Sport perform and it was classic. He dedicated his verses to the ladies and went in on the differences btw men and woman. Heavy mental
Round 3 (Grab Bag) The monster CF stepped up for the 5thcolumn team and had the crowd in a frenzy!!

Round 4..(beat Juggling) Likwuid from Rebel Star completely smashed it!!!!… no matter what tempo or flow she killed it!
Round 5 (cypher)… The Dream Team had one of the best rounds I’ve ever seen in the challenge!! PH…. Mecca…Mazi... Elite… Sandman… each one of them showed why they are some of the best lyricist in the game right now… truly incredible!
