- "K.I.N.G." from EOW Presents 3Kings

It all started in the summer of 2000. A DJ by the name of Joey Ty set about starting a weekly open mic in NYC's Lower East Side to fill the void of venues for underground and independent MCs to rock. In his mission, Joey reached out to three friends, from two different crews, to host the show: Big Zoo from Solid Ground, and Vice Verses and Prolific Wone from i2i. Having seen them each perform at various venues, he recognized the potential chemistry amongst them on stage. Unfortunately, Joey Ty passed away before he could see his vision materialize. Vice, Zoo and Pro picked up the torch and carried on, and the moment they stepped on that first stage, EOW was born.

As EOW progressed from its humble origins, Zoo, Vice and Pro would be in the studio as much as possible, recording songs with other artists from the open mic. The results of these collaborations were released as two EOW compilation albums, "Special Forces, Vol. 1"  (2001) and "Definition " (2003). By 2004, ater EOW opened its own recording studio, the three of them felt the time was right to cut their own album as a group. The result was the winner of the 2004 Independent Music Award for best hip-hop album: "EOW presents: 3 Kings"

Vice Verses - A Boogie Down Bronx native who won't have anyone forget "where this all started."  Vices'  Verses are mind gripping, sharp witted darts, challenging listeners to do more that just hear the words. Vice conceals double meanings in all his verses, which only enhance his impeccable timing and delivery.

Big Zoo - This veteran Jersey MC has been on the scene for almost ten years, amazing crowd wih his flawless freetyle performances and imposing stage presence. His lyrics stress the importance of consciousness and progression within the Hip Hop community. Zoo has had numerous underground releases, and won MTV's DirectFX M.C. Battle 5 weeks in a row.

ProPayne -  A Lower East Side resident famous for his aggressive delivery, stark lyrical imagery and wild on-stage antics has been holding his own for years. His energy resonates through his voice as he walks you through verbal pictures comparable to great wild style graffiti pieces.

Having rocked together every Sunday night for 8 years as hosts of the EOW open mic, the 3 Kings developed an incomparable stage presence and an international fan base. They have rocked in cities across the U.S. and Europe and have been the hosts of the RockSteady Anniversary Concert for the past 5 years, as well as the being hosts of the EOW MC Challenge.

Throughout the years, besides developing their own music careers, each of the 3 Kings  has been heavily involved in the business development of EOW. As equal partners in the company, they share responsibilities such as booking, event planning and marketing for the record label.
